Dear Graham

We write as from the whole family to express our utter delight with "Sherpa".

From the moment I spoke to you a few weeks ago there was an understanding of trust which, whilst being our ethos, is rare to find now days.

On arrival I had expected Sherpa to take a few weeks to settle and take on board our trust. I was very surprised when after only 24 hours he seemed worthy of a walk with the gun. The following day on a light training session he put up a couple of cock birds and a half a dozen woodcock. The following day he was retrieving his first cock runner and that evening a couple of widgeon on flight

His commands were very easy to take up and now less than a month on he has taken to a few changes adapting to my old ways.

With the family he has obviously spent time with the children and asores a few moments here and there with our brood. He has also taken well to our elderly bitch WSS.

Morning and evening he has a good run over fields and two or three times a weekis with me on a rough shoot. The only problem now is that Sherpa, and I guess me as the companion are being invited to shoots when my love is a simple walk on the moors with a gun to hand!

Without doubt a supberb dog that has become a good companion and family friend. We cannot thank you enough for being sincere and above all very capable in educating such a fine dog. If ever a reference where required then I can heartily say you deserve it though you should not need it.

Our hospitality extends to you if you are ever in these far reaches of Wales and wishing you a happy family Christmas and good health for the New Year.
